"Give the kids HASI/DC !" - this will be the soundtrack of the year.
Rock music for kids ... and yet it's much more than that. There's punk, metal, reggae, pop, disco and even something like indie wave rock and country. All played with a wink and please never take it too seriously. Not just for the kids, but always for the whole family. In front of the stage, at home, on the road.
There are songs about fries, mummies, vampires, a visit to the hairdressing salon or a sloth that would like to have its name spelled differently. "Fahrrad" is a metal hymn to happiness on two wheels and at the same time the demand "We're taking back the road - because roads are for everyone". With ABC Alarm, the band has succeeded in creating a real alphabet song in the spirit of old Sesame Street classics. Nevertheless, the central theme of the album is the idea of sticking together, being there for each other and community. "Solidarity" is so important in this day and age and the kids can be told what that means. "Yes Yes Yes - I'm always there for you" ... that's the basis of everything.
Randale was founded 20 years ago because singer Jochen Vahle's daughter, aged 3, much preferred listening to the Ramones or Die Ärzte and couldn't do anything with the usual children's songs. A remedy had to be found and the children's rock band was quickly formed.
Initially it was just a few cool children's songs for the Olderdissen zoo, but Randale quickly developed nationwide as an alternative for parents with children's music problems. "Never mind the recorder - here comes Randale".
